Followings are some Unique Features of our Disc Brake in comparision to traditional Drum Brakes:-

1. Service Cost - Disc Brake contains only Brake Pads and hence changed after running 30000 Kms which makes it cost effective for       3Wheeler owner.   On the other hand, traditional Drum Brake require frequent maintenance.

2. Re-Greasing issue - The Disc remains in open environment. So, there is no chance to make the Braking Area or Swept Area slippery even if the grease leaks from the Axle.  On the other hand, in Drum Brake the grease leakage from Axle make the swept area slippery which tends to brake failure and make the driver to push brake pedal multiple-times.

3. No adjustment required - Disc Brake do not require frequent Brake setting as it has self-adjusting system.  Only Brake Pads need to be changed due wear and tear.   On the other hand, in Drum Brake plate assembly is mechanical and it require adjustment within a time period of 30 days approximately.

4. Higher Stopping Power - Disc Brake has higher stopping power than traditional Drum Brake as the brake force is applied in both sides of the disc i.e. it has two swept areas.  On the other hand, Drum Brake has one swept area due to which braking force is applied in one side which makes its stopping power lower than Disc Brake.

5. Quick Heat Dissapation - The Disc Brake is directly in contact with the open environment.  So, the heat formed during braking dissapate quickly and as well as do not transmit heat into wheel and tyre.  On the other hand, Drum remains inside wheel and heat formed during braking could not dissapate easily.

6. We Condition Braking Surface - Disc Brake also perform better in wet weather because centrifugal force tends to fling water off the Brake Disc and keep it dry.  On the other hand, in Drum Brake water will remain inside the drum which make the swept area slippery and as a result it require to push the brake pedal multiple times to slow down or stop the 3Wheeler.
